NEW YORK -- Dean & DeLuca has withdrawn its registration for an initial public offering, the specialty food retailer here said. In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing last week, Dean & DeLuca cited "unfavorable market conditions" for the withdrawal. and business-to-business sales, according to its SEC filing. The company had $59.6 million in sales in fiscal 1999 and showed an operating loss of $10.3 million.
