es, a major contract feeder here, has named Donald Lear vice president of its Restaurants Plus division, a new position.
Lear was with Lord & Taylor, a New York City-based department store. His most recent title there was director, divisional vice president of food services, salons and alterations.
In his new post, he has assumed some of the responsibilities of Carl Marsalis, president of Restaurants Plus, who has left the company. Lear reports to Tony Wilson, senior vice president of ARA's marketing services group. Restaurants Plus is the company's retail-focused division, which was called Restaurant Services when it was formed last year to do business with supermarkets, convenience stores and other nontraditional locations. The division's name was changed to more clearly identify it as a separate division of ARA, an official there said.
Voell was assistant food-service director at Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center, Milwaukee, for the last three years.
