SALISBURY, N.C. (FNS) -- A shareholder proposal by Food Lion truck driver Thomas S. Lukenich, Mechanicsville, Va., that would add two seats to the company's board stands no chance of passage. The measure, which calls for the additional seats to be reserved for rank-and-file workers, is to be considered during the Food Lion annual meeting here May 4. ls, which controls a majority of voting shares.
