AKRON, Ohio -- Carol Moore, director of food service for West Point Market, has left the company.
years. Moore had responsibility for West Point's kitchen, deli and catering departments as well as for new product development.
In the restructuring last month, the single-unit, upscale retailer named kitchen, deli and catering staff members to manage the respective departments.
Cathy Bartko, a kitchen staff member for one year, has been named kitchen manager. Jill Klinehamer, on the deli staff for three years, is now deli line manager. Corrine Gandy, on the catering staff for five years, is the new catering manager. Bartko, Klinehamer and Gandy report to Michael Vernon, who oversees the three departments. Vernon had been store manager for a year and a half. Prior to that, he was the company's director of human resources. Vernon, who will not have an official title, reports to Russell Vernon, president.
