ROSWELL, Ga. -- Harry's Farmers Market here has opened a third Harry's in a Hurry fresh-foods store. It is twice as large as its predecessors and includes new concepts.
The format focuses primarily on a range of home-meal replacement offerings. At the new 15,000-square-foot unit, an expanded sandwich program features a new self-service condiment bar. A stir fry station has also made its debut there, and an island salad bar features a much larger variety than is available at the other two Harry's in a Hurry units, a Harry's spokeswoman said.
A small cappuccino bar and a full-service kitchen overseen by a full-time chef are also new elements at the store, which had its grand opening celebration last week.
Like the first two, the third Harry's in a Hurry is located north of downtown Atlanta. It shares a strip mall with other retail stores including Subway and Chesapeake Bagel, Sports Authority and Pier 1.
The HMR outlet is in a site that was formerly an A&P, and occupies about half the building at the beginning of the strip.
Harry's Farmers Markets owns and operates three giant Harry's Farmers Markets, which specialize in fresh foods. The two previous Harry's in a Hurry units are each approximately 7,000 square feet.
The new Harry's in a Hurry store is in a high traffic area surrounded by apartment buildings and at the intersection of two highways.
