Webvan Group, Foster City Calif., has been awarded a New Jersey State grant worth more than $3.2 million to help create jobs, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority said last week. Webvan is expected to add 1,000 jobs as a result of building distribution centers in North Bergen and Logan Township, N.J. The grant will be paid over 10 years. ying $82 per customer. The study was conducted by The Boston Consulting Group.
