KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Hallmark here has debuted the Tree of Life brand, a line that features everyday cards and seasonal offerings for Jewish holy days, such as Passover, Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah. The name Tree of Life was chosen because of the significance of trees in Judaism. Members of Hallmark's product council traveled to Israel to visit historical sites and museums on which the 1997 line will be based. The 1996 Passover line includes 52 designs and messages.
