VAN NUYS, Calif. -- Live Entertainment here will test a sales campaign aimed at getting retailers to buy more units of the company's direct-to-video films. In the "Right Buy" program, retailers will receive a 25% to 40% discount when they order a two-pack of selected titles. Discounts will be announced at the time of solicitation, with a 25% discount offered on the initial titles, "Spirits Lost" and "Balance of Power," which will be released March 25. The test will continue for a year.
