& Gamble here is launching a major overhaul of its disposable-diaper brands. As part of the effort, it will abandon its gender-specific Pampers line.
Beginning Aug. 19, it will introduce a number of new products. One will be an upgrade to its "Pampers Premium" that will include "breathable" side panels. The panels are said to help get air to a baby's skin, thereby reducing the chance of skin rash. The regular Pampers Premium version will be phased out.
The company also will convert to a unisex version of its "Pampers Stretch." The new product, "Pampers Baby-Dry," has a redesigned core that is said to work equally well for boys and girls.
At the same time, it will introduce a full range of large-count packs. Sizes include jumbo, mega, 4x and 6x counts. Suggested retail for new Pampers products, depending on the count size, will range from $6.99 to $24.99; and Luvs will cost $5.89 to $18.99.
ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Co. here has added two new flavors, Banana Vanilla Inclination and Mind Over Mango, to its line of Fruitopia new age fruit drinks and teas.
Fruitopia has also redesigned its label to heighten the featured fruit. Label graphics have also been enhanced.
