WESTFORD, Mass. -- Veryfine Products is expanding upon the success of its new oxygen-barrier PET technology by introducing a 32-ounce VeryFresh bottle into the marketplace. The VeryFresh bottle, developed by Continental PET Technologies, is currently being used by Veryfine for its 12-ounce and 16-ounce lines of juice and juice drinks. The VeryFresh package, through a patented microthin, five-layer construction process, has been proven far superior to traditional PET packaging and equal to glass in protecting product integrity through the normal product distribution cycle.
It works by providing two active polymer barriers that absorb and repel oxygen, an enemy to juice freshness and taste. The VeryFresh package is lightweight, recyclable and shatterproof, like traditional PET.
