rocery, here, and Western Beef Inc., Ridgewood, N.Y., have begun selling a local brand of parbaked pizza crust in their respective stores. The product is merchandised in the bread/dairy aisle, according to officials with the manufacturer, Sicilian Crust, Inc., Farmingdale, N.Y.
The item, Sicilian Crust Par Baked Pizza Crust, is available in single- or double-vacuum packs. Each crust is 12 inches. A square crust is also available, they said.
The manufacturer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prime Marketing, also headquartered in Farmingdale, a developing food-service management company, which is also preparing to launch a specialty on-line grocery site, www.foodsoftheworld.com.
