Food Lion, Salisbury, N.C., said last week it has scheduled an auction for Sept. 23 to sell the former Kash n' Karry Food Stores warehouse and office complex in Tampa, Fla. The 53-acre, 700,000-square-foot facility has been virtually closed since Food Lion acquired Kash n' Karry in late 1996 and transferred its operations to an existing facility in Plant City, Fla. Food Lion said it intends to sell the Tampa site as a single piece of property.

NASH FINCH CO., MINNEAPOLIS, said last week it has completed the sale of Nash-De Camp Co., its California-based produce-growing and -marketing subsidiary, to Agriholding Inc., a privately held company based in Pebble Beach, Calif. Nash Finch said the transaction was structured as a sale of all the outstanding stock of Nash-De Camp for cash. Terms were not disclosed. In 1998, Nash-De Camp posted annual sales of $47.8 million, less than 1% of Nash Finch's 1998 revenues, according to the company.
