BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -- Northeast Cooperatives has opened an addition to its main warehouse facility, enabling the wholesale distributor to move its organic produce operation to the new site. organic produce warehouse in Chelsea, Mass., has been closed and put up for sale. The expansion is part of a larger consolidation plan centered on the Brattleboro complex, they said. As a result, the number of warehouse facilities has been reduced from four to two, they added.
