MINNEAPOLIS -- Schwan's Consumer Brands North America and Europe has joined its four frozen pizza brands for a worldwide campaign, "The World's Greatest Pizza Promotion."
"Through teamwork, our goal is to boost Schwan's pizza sales throughout the promotion," said John Beadle, president and chief operating officer, Schwan's Global Consumer Brands. "Building on each of the brand's individual successes, this promotion combines the overall strength of each brand with a creative promotion to reward our consumer audience."
Schwan's created musical pizza boxes with a light-sensitive sound chip to reveal if consumers are a first-prize or grand-prize winner. Additional prizes are available at www.theworldsgreatestpizzapromotion.com.
As part of the promotion, one in five consumers will instantly win $3 in "Music Cash," which can be redeemed for merchandise at major music outlets. One hundred first-prize winners will receive a portable CD/MP3 player. Four grand-prize winners will attend the concert of their choice in one of 10 cities around the world.
