LOS ANGELES — Curious George's classic character will now be on the packaging of children's medicines from Hyland's here. Hyland's, a manufacturer of homeopathic medicines, partnered with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group, Universal City, Calif., to repackage several products in its 4 Kids line of all-natural medicines. The familiar monkey, from the book series published by Houghton Mifflin Co., starred in his own movie, “Curious George” in 2006, and has also become part of daily television through the “Curious George” series on PBS Kids. The new Hyland's Sniffles 'n Sneezes 4 Kids and Calms Forte 4 Kids packaging will debut nationwide next month.
CENTURY CITY, Calif. — “Night at the Museum,” the action-comedy that stayed in the top five at the box office for eight weeks, comes to DVD on April 24 from Fox Home Entertainment. Starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney, the story follows a night-shift museum security guard who finds the displays come to life at night. The marketing plan will target TV, print, radio, in-school and online outlets. A publicity campaign aimed at families will include print and broadcast editorial placement and a promotional partnership with Kellogg. The “Night at the Museum” Special Edition DVD will retail for $34.98.
