SPRINGFIELD, N.J. -- Village Super Market here, which operates two dozen ShopRite supermarkets in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, reported net income of $660,000 for the second quarter ended Jan. 25, 1997, compared with $1.194 million in the prior year.
