COMPTON, Calif. -- Ralphs Grocery Co. here reported total and same-store sales gains for the 36 weeks ended Oct. 6. $103.3 million in the 36 weeks, compared with a $50.2 million loss a year ago. The company previously had reported results for the 12-week third quarter, which saw sales rise 1.2% to $1.2 billion and operating income rise 634% to $44.8 million.
