WASHINGTON -- A new report from the Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows fewer people are eating rare hamburgers when they cook at home or order out. Some 80% of respondents said they now cook burgers until they are well-done, with clear-running juices, up from 76% in 1991. Similarly, the number of people reporting they cooked burgers to medium-rare declined from 20% to less than 15%.
