PEWAUKEE, Wis. -- Roundy's here said it plans to begin transferring operations from its Van Wert, Ohio, distribution center to a larger facility in Mazomanie, Wis., on May 28, with the Van Wert facility scheduled to close Sept. 10. The move is being made because the Mazomanie warehouse is more efficient, with newer technology and a higher capacity, a spokeswoman told SN. Once the Van Wert facility closes, Roundy's will have eight distribution centers remaining.
