ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- For the second year in a row, the Society of American Florists here will launch a national rose promotion in July that includes advertising, public relations and local merchandising programs.
members will receive promotion kits, which include a promotional ideas brochure, color poster, window banner, and camera-ready small-space ads, as well as camera-ready sheets of rose trivia, and care and handling tips.
The campaign will include radio spots, television and radio interviews with Denise Lee, AFMC spokeswoman, and full-page color ads in the July 14 issues of Newsweek, People and Sports Illustrated.
