NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The U Connect Conference, sponsored by GS1 US, Lawrenceville, N.J., convened June 6-8 here at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, in the heart of the country music business. Though treated to a performance by country and bluegrass artists Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, attendees of the conference focused mainly on business standards, including bar codes, data synchronization, RFID and e-commerce. The exhibit hall was the scene of two end-of-day receptions.
