DAYVILLE, Conn. -- United Natural Foods here said it would open its largest distribution facility in September in Rocklin, Calif. ducts distributor's warehouse in Auburn, Calif. Earlier this month, United, for the second quarter ended Jan. 31, posted net income of $9.24 million on sales of $504.71 million, increases of 31.3% and 28.3%, respectively. The company said increased fuel costs and its acquisition of Select Nutrition Distributors had a negative impact on earnings.
