LOS ANGELES -- The Food Industry Management Program at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California here is soliciting middle-management participants for its spring term, scheduled from Jan. 20 to April 28.
Classroom instruction will be supplemented by classroom visits by senior food industry executives, including John Burgon, president, Ralphs Grocery Co.; Bill Coyne, president, Raley's; Dale Henley, president and chief executive officer, Haggen; Dave Hirz, president, Food 4 Less Foods Co.; Dave Simonson, president of the Southern California division of Albertsons; Don Alvarado, senior vice president, Smart & Final; Susan Klug, group president, Catalina Marketing Corp., and Tom Keller, president, Vons, a division of Safeway.
