GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Meijer here has purchased a milk processing plant in Holland Township, Mich. from Bareman Dairy, and will use the facility to launch Purple Cow Creamery, according to a report by Mlive.com. The dairy will supply milk to Meijer’s 101 Michigan stores. Mlive also reported that Meijer plans to invest $8 million to expand the facility.
