ELIZABETH, N.J. — Police here arrested a local man who is accused of using a stolen credit card swipe terminal to put thousands of dollars on gift cards and prepaid credit cards. According to reports, Juan M. Perez used the machine to issue nearly $80,000 in gift cards using ShopRite's account, and then sold them to customers.
