DENVER — King Soopers and Safeway have agreed to extend talks with their union workers through Aug. 15, according to United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 here. The union has been negotiating separately with the chains to replace a contract that expired in May. The union added it was still waiting to schedule additional talks with Albertsons.
