MIAMI — Grocery distributor H.T. Hackney Co. said it may lay off 40 workers at a distribution center here after losing a grocery-distribution contract for Walgreen Co., according to reports. The distributor, which also supplies The Fresh Market, also recently said it was cutting staff at its Orlando, Fla., warehouse, the South Florida Business Journal reported.
