ROANOKE, Va. — The 58,000-square-foot Ukrop’s supermarket that opened here to great fanfare in 2007 is scheduled to be sold at an auction next month, according to a report in the Roanoke Times newspaper. Ukrop’s, Richmond, Va., closed the store last month citing a slow economy that delayed area development and leasing at the shopping center where it is located.
