EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market here kicked off recruitment for its 2012 internship program last week, offering more than 30 paid positions at its home office here and its facilities in Riverside, Calif.
The company said interns will be placed in various departments, including human resources, supply chain, commercial, marketing, IT and engineering, with exposure to special projects, leadership training courses and hands-on experience plus performance feedback.
To be eligible, applicants must be in their senior year or recent graduate of a four-year accredited university and be able to commit to full-time work.
"The program is a great opportunity for students and recent grads to gain once-in-a-lifetime experience with a fast-growing company," said Emma Weare, recruitment director. "More than half of last year's interns found full-time opportunities within Fresh & Easy."
