CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ruddick Corp. here yesterday said operating profit at its Harris Teeter chain was up 5.2% in the company’s fiscal fourth quarter, driven by increased sales from new stores and comparable-store sales growth of 2.16%. The company posted operating profit of $42.6 million for the 13-week quarter, which ended Sept. 28, on a sales gain of 10.2%, to $948.8 million.
