LITTLEFIELD, Texas — Lowe's Market here has reportedly purchased 55 stores in south and central Texas from Super S Foods, San Antonio, for an undisclosed sum. Prior to the purchase, Lowe's operated 90 stores in west Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, with annual sales estimated at $700 million.
