MONTREAL — Canadian retailer Metro will shift the effective start date of its weekly ads from Mondays to Thursdays beginning June 5 at its stores in Quebec, the retailer said yesterday. Metro said it was making the change to better align its promotions with its shoppers' business shopping days. As part of the change, ads for Metro, Metro Plus, Super C and Marche Richelieu that broke this Monday will continue through Wednesday, June 4. Read More of Today's Headlines
