GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spartan Stores here said it would officially break ground Tuesday on a new Glen’s Market supermarket in Manistee, Mich. The 38,000-square-foot store, set for a summer 2009 opening, would be the first newly constructed store in seven years for the Glen’s chain.
