CINCINNATI — Jim Stengel, 53, the widely known global marketing officer of Procter & Gamble Co. here, will retire on Oct. 31 after 25 years with the company. Marc Pritchard, 48, now president, strategy, productivity and growth, will succeed Stengel as global marketing officer. The change will be effective on Aug. 1.
