THUNDER BAY, Ontario — Workers at Loblaw Cos.' Real Canadian Superstore here have voted to authorize a strike, according to United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1000A, which represents the workers.
About 300 workers at the store, subject to an individual agreement with Loblaw, have been working without a contract since March 2009 and have been in legal position to strike since last month, Local 1000A said.
