BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart Stores here has stopped giving out free bags at three stores in Northern California as a test. According to a company spokeswoman, customers at two stores in Sacramento and one in Ukiah can either bring their own bags from home or buy polypropylene fabric bags at the stores — 15 cents for a smaller size, 50 cents for a larger size.
