MISSISSAUGUA, Ontario — Walmart Canada said Monday it plans more than 100,000 extended discount “Rollbacks” in 2011, an increase of around 12% from 2010. “Despite an improving Canadian economy, customers are still feeling the financial challenge and are expecting and demanding value,” Lee Tappenden, senior vice president of merchandise operations at Walmart Canada, said in a statement. “More than ever before customers are looking to save money, and we are determined to help.”
