AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market here is eyeing its first site in Scotland, according to local reports. U.K. newspaper Herald Scotland said this week that the retailer was in “advanced negotiations” to take over a former Safeway store near Glasgow, which could become Whole Foods’ first in Scotland.
