JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In a conference call discussing second-quarter earnings yesterday, Winn-Dixie Stores said that during the first half the chain’s 54 offensive remodels had a weighted average sales gain of 9.6%, slightly below its 10% target. It has now remodeled 112 stores, or approximately 20% of it store base.
