PORTLAND, Ore. — Funeral services were pending here this week for John Zupan, founder of Zupan's Markets, who died Monday following a hit-and-run accident. Zupan, 66, was riding a motorcycle when a Honda Civic crossed the center line and hit his vehicle head-on. Zupan's operates three upscale stores here.
