ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Union workers for Raley’s, Safeway and Save Mart stores in California’s Central Valley and the Bay Area have agreed to a second contract extension with employers as negotiations for a new deal continues. Workers, represented by three locals of the United Food and Commercial Workers, including Local 8 here, said the extension would run through Nov. 19. The contract with employers was to have expired Oct. 8.
