CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas’ has launched a pharmacy program at more than 65 Bashas’ and Food City pharmacy locations in Arizona, allowing customers to fill generic prescriptions for more than 300 generic drugs at the price of $3.99. “Generic medications contain the same active ingredients as their brand-name counterparts and are equally effective, but cost significantly less,” said Dan Milovich, director of pharmacy operations. “Our customers will save both time and money through this new offering, which will help them to live better, healthier lives.” The program will cover commonly prescribed doses of generic medications up to a 30-day supply. Individuals are eligible whether or not they have any prescription-drug coverage.
