GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.— Meijer Inc. has provided more than 1 million free antibiotic prescriptions during the first year of its program, Meijer co-chairmen Hank and Doug Meijer reported yesterday. The retailer launched the program in October 2006 covering leading oral generic antibiotics, with a special focus on the prescriptions most often filled for children.
