AMSTERDAM — Ahold here said Friday that first-quarter comparable-store sales rose 0.7% at Stop & Shop and fell 0.8% at Giant-Landover. Strong trends continued at Giant-Carlisle, where comps rose 6.3% for the period. The company did not break out sales results for the Tops chain, which it is seeking to sell.
