PITTSBURGH — Retailer Giant Eagle here has made a $20 million bid to buy a bottled water and tea plant from bankrupt bottler LeNature’s, published reports said Wednesday. The trustee in the bankruptcy case of LeNature’s told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review newspaper that Giant Eagle will be revealed later this week as the “stalking horse” in an auction of the Latrobe, Pa., plant.
