Retailers and suppliers, most with a strong base in the Pacific Northwest, were out in force to exchange ideas at the 13th annual Executive Forum sponsored by the Food Industry Leadership Center at Portland State University in Oregon last month. There was time allocated for business and pleasure, including a lot of networking — not only by industry executives with each other, but also by executives with FILC students interested in pursuing careers in the industry.
