CHICAGO — Willis Stein & Partners here, the parent of Roundy’s Supermarkets, would be interested in acquiring Dominick’s if Safeway decides to sell the chain, one of the co-founders of Willis Stein told Crain’s Chicago Business last week. Avy Stein also said bidders remain interested in buying Milwaukee-based Roundy’s, although the chain has been taken off the market for now.
