SAN FRANCISCO — Despite the recommendation of union leaders, members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union in Northern California have voted not to accept a new contract offer with Save Mart Supermarkets. It was not immediately clear what would happen next. The UFCW is still negotiating with Safeway, while talks with Raley's have previously been suspended.
