TAMASAKI, Japan – Costco Wholesale said two people were killed at its store here in last week's earthquake when a parking ramp collapsed.
The store also sustained "significant damage" in the temblor, the membership club retailer said in a prepared statement. The eight other Costco store locations in Japan have been inspected and are "open for business," said the company, which is based in Issaquah, Wash.
