FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart Stores, Bentonville, Ark., announced last week that the Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club Foundation is donating $1.5 million to the University of Arkansas here to help researchers find ways for businesses to be more environmentally friendly, according to a report in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
